Safety training programs are a smart way to protect your most valuable asset - your employees. What's more, they're good for business: studies show a $4-$6 return for every dollar invested in health and safety training, with improvements in productivity, absenteeism and morale.
However, implementing an effective training program is no small task. That's why so many companies trust the Twin Cities Area Red Cross for their training needs. Your local Red Cross offers a wide range of training programs designed to teach employees how to protect themselves and their co-workers - and maybe even save a life.

Topics include:
- First Aid
- CPR
- Automated External Defibrillation (AED)
- Infant & Child CPR and First Aid
- Injury-Control Modules
Because training is "learner-centered," participants learn by doing, promoting skill retention and the ability to respond quickly in an emergency situation. Plus, our modular program design allows you to build programs that meet the individual needs of your business.
Meets OSHA Requirements
As Minnesota's leading provider of health and safety training, the American Red Cross is uniquely qualified to help your company comply with critical OSHA requirements and other industry-specific guidelines. A wide range of courses gives people the skills they need to face emergency situations with confidence.
Maximize Convenience with Flexible Training Solutions
Build training around your company's schedules and work locations. Streamlined training means you can offer additional training topics to address other common workplace safety needs. Offer training on-site or at one of the Twin Cities Area Red Cross' two convenient locations. You can even choose "train-the-trainer" programs that allows you to select employees to become instructors, enabling them to lead Red Cross health and safety programs in-house. AEDs Now Available and Affordable
Now thanks to an easy-to-use, portable devise called an automated external defribrillator (AED) and training from your Red Cross, ordinary people can be lifesavers. For about the price of a laptop computer, you can place an AED at your facility so that your employees can provide immediate care to a victim of a sudden cardiac arrest. The Twin Cities Area Red Cross helps facilitate sales of a variety of the latest AED models, and also offers full-service AED training. Dennis Johnson's Story
Last year, Dennis Johnson received first aid, CPR and AED training from his employer GMAC-RFC in Bloomington. Just months after being certified his skills were put to the test when he used CPR and an AED to help save the life of a man having a heart attack at a local athletic club. Thanks to Dennis' Red Cross training someone's life was saved.
When disaster strikes, you need to know what to do. Every second counts. You need to ALREADY be trained. That’s why the Twin Cities Red Cross encourages you to GET RED CROSS READY!
